Properties of the Films/Coatings

Zirconium oxide films from this precursor are amorphous and porous. Crystalline and porous structure tetragonal zirconia films form after being treated at 400oC or higher.  The film is made of highle dense monoclinic/tetragonal zirconia after heat treated at 800oC.

Appearance:  Viscous iquid,  light yellow;

Solubility:  Hexane, toluene, alcohols;

Resulting product: ZrO2;

Oxide Content: 20 wt%

Crystallization temperature: 450 deg C

Lighting, catalytic converter, semiconductor devices, scratch resistant coating, piezoelectric/electrostrictive devices, magnetroresistive head, substrate coatings fro electronic devices, colored films, adhesives, solid electrolyte films, optical coating etc.
