NANOFIBER STRUCTURE WITH IMMOBILIZED ORGANIC SUBSTANCE AND THE METHOD OF ITS PREPARATION

The invention concerns a nanofiber structure with immobilized organic agens that consists of silica nanofibers whose surface was modified with aminoaikyialkoxysilane and of subsequently immobilized organic agens. The invention also concerns a method of preparation of the nanofiber structure with immobilized organic agens, while silica nanofibers are prepared by electrostatic spinning from the initial sol synthesized by a sol-gel method from tetraalkoxysilane, heat-treated and their the surface modified by a solution of aminoaikyialkoxysilane and organic agens is then immobilized on the modified surface of the nanofibers.

METHODS FOR PRODUCING PRECURSOR SOLUTIONS AND SOL-GELS FOR NANO-ENGINEERED CARBON MATERIALS AND NANO-ENGINEERED CARBON MATERIALS CREATED THEREFROM

Methods of manufacturing nano-engineered carbon materials, such as carbon aerogels and carbon xerogels, and methods of manufacturing precursor solutions and sol-gels for making the same are provided. A method for manufacturing a precursor solution comprises programmed-addition of a cross-linking agent to a component mixture comprising a resorcinol compound. A method for manufacturing a sol-gel comprises subjecting a precursor solutions to at least one heat treatment. Methods for producing nano-engineered carbon materials from precursor solutions and sol-gels are also provided. Methods for using the nano-engineered carbon materials are also disclosed. The resulting nano-engineered carbon materials can be useful in a range of products including, supercapacitor applications, high-surface-area electrodes, fuel cells, and desalination systems.

POROUS AND STRUCTURED MATERIALS FOR DYNAMIC NUCLEAR POLARIZATION, PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND NMR ANALYSIS METHOD

The present invention concerns materials consisting in a porous and structured network, this network being at least in part formed by Si atoms, or Si atoms and metal atoms, linked to each other's via siloxy bonds, the amount of radical ranging from 0.50 to 0.03 mmol of radical per gram of material, and in that the network is formed with a sol-gel step using an organosilane for the introduction of the organic molecules allowing their regular distribution within the porous structured material. The invention also concern a process for the preparation of such material and a method of analysis by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) of an analyte wherein it uses dynamic nuclear polarization generated with a material according to the invention.
